Liverpool are confident soon securing goalkeeper Alisson Becker to a new contract.

The Mirror says Liverpool are thought to be at the 'final stages' of an agreement with goalkeeper Alisson over a new contract which will see him commit his long-term future to the club.

Acording to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the Reds are likely to wrap up the deal with their 'keeper in the next few weeks before an announcement is made.

The contract extension is though to be worth five years, keeping him at Anfield until 2026.

Since his arrival on Merseyside, Alisson has won the Golden Glove in the Premier League, Copa America and the Champions League, all three coming in one season - his debut campaign at the club.
